Day 1 Arrive to Chiangmai
You can arrive to Chiangmai International Airport our guide will wait for the groups to cheek in to the hotel were our groups have to stay at night.After dinner our guide will introduce the plant for tomorrow.
Day 2 Chiangmai - Village home stay
After breakfast, you will be transferred by minibus to the small border town of Maeai. It is 164 km North of Chiangmai on the Burmese border and there are some points of interest along the way.
We travel 3 hours to a small Thai Village in time for lunched we stay in the home of some local friend. In the afternoon we take you to see Thai outpost army camp and borderline "No Man land".
In The evening we're experience the quiet village life before sampling a traditional northern Thai Khantok dinner and enjoying a traditional music and dance performance by the villagers. Staying here is a true privilege and a chance to experience the real Thailand something very few travelers are able to do.
Day 3 : Home stay - Lahu village
After breakfast you will be transported by pick-up truck to the Maekok River from where you will travel by boat for 2 hrs through stunning mountain scenery to your trekking point at a riverside Karen Village. You can warm up with an elephant tour of the surrounding area.We will stop for lunch at rice field cottage and a climb on foot to the remote Lahu village,situated at 1,300 m.
Day 4 : Lahu village - Waterfalls - Maesalong
You can enjoy fantastic early morning views from the mountain top village before departing along a small trail to some waterfalls where you'll break for a swim. After lunch we will take Songthaew to hotel at Doi Maesalong is now known for tea plantations and spectacular scenery as well as being the centre for the local hill-tribe peoples. Time to wander around the picturesque mountain-top town and perhaps check out participate in a tea tasting ceremony.accommodation 1 night here.
Day 5 Golden triangles - Chiangrai
Before Breakfast or sunrise. You can walk around the village to see views of valley and mountain, especially in early morning air is cool and tranquil so beautiful in this point is the top of mountain 1,400 meters from sea level. We will continue by minibus to visit the magnificent botanical gardens of Mae Fah Luang Garden (Doi Tung Development Project ) - Golden traingle where the Thailand, Burma , Laos borers meet. and where we can take in the unusual ‘Opium Museum’, and have the option of a speed boat ride down the Maekhong River before a return to Chiang Rai Town for our overnight accommodation.We return by bus to Chiangmai in the morning.
